The Tarring Club History
Originally built in 1907 and named ‘West Tarring Working Mens Club’, the club was popular with the local working community and their families up until it’s bombing in the second world war in 1943. As a result, the club was reduced to rubble leaving only the flag pole standing.
However, the club was later rebuilt and returned to its former glory in 1950.
